Courtnie Wolfgang and I co-facilitated a workshop entitled (Re)Mixed Media. It invited a group of twelve girls to create video commentaries on the issues of their choice by remixing and mashing images and videos found online and short videos created during our workshop. These video films critique the beauty standards and body image in popular culture and peer pressure among girls. We are thankful to our new media consultant O.K. Keyes and graduate student volunteers Ruzanna Carter, Michelle McDonald, Katielynn Gadow, Kim Truesdale, and Alison Delaney for their help with this project.
