Courtnie Wolfgang and I collaborated with a media artist and digital glitch art expert O.K. Keyes on a project Glitch Perfect. After the participants selected popular music video segments and created their own short videos, they applied glitch effects to these videos and compiled them into short films.These films embrace imperfections and mistakes in girls' lives and subvert popular culture and media representations of girls and women. Special thanks to a former WWBI coordinator Andrenette Hudley and student volunteers Christa Eberhard, Jeanee Bourque, and Tesni Stephen for their help with this workshop.
